Leanard "Doogie" Velasquez, age 27, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 23, 2021 in Hondo, Texas. Leanard was born in Goodland, Kansas on April 27, 1993 to Patsy and Ruben Velasquez, Sr.
Leanard is survived by his wife: Teresa Prado; Daughter: Neveah Velasquez; Parents: Patsy Velasquez and Ruben Velasquez, Sr.; Sister: Anita Marquez (Jose); Brothers: Ruben Velasquez, Jr. (Arlene), Rene Velasquez (Alex), ; and also, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021, with rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
