Felipe Bermea, Sr., age 82, of D’Hanis, Texas, passed away on January 28, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Felipe was born in D’Hanis, Texas on August 23, 1938 to Ignacio and Jesusita Bermea.

Felipe is preceded in death by his parents: Ignacio and Jesusita Bermea; daughter: Luveena Bermea; sisters: Elvira B. Gallegos, Juanita B. Romero, Atanasia B. Carrillo, and Elisa B. Gonzales; brothers: Gilberto Bermea, Sr. and Amador Bermea, Sr.

Felipe is survived by his loving wife: Dora Bermea; sons: Felipe Bermea, Jr. (Norma) and David Bermea (Patricia); daughters: Julianna Bermea, Adelita Garcia (Danny), and Lucinda Bermea; sisters: Maria Elena Canales (Tom), Jesusita B. De Leon, and Faustina Bermea; brothers: Ignacio Bermea, Jr. (Rose) and Evaristo Bermea, Sr. (Antonia); 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, with a rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in D’Hanis, Texas. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. An interment will follow in San Francisco Cemetery in D’Hanis, Texas.
