Obituary

Corina S. Hernandez, age 76, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 14, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Corina was born in Uvalde, Texas on May 27, 1944 to Jorge Sanchez and San Juanita Dominguez Martinez.

Corina is preceded in death by Mother: San Juanita Dominguez Martinez and father: Jorge Sanchez.

Corina is survived by her husband: Armando N. Hernandez; sons: Albert “Tiko” Hernandez (Esperanza), Abe Hernandez (Belma), and Christopher Hernandez (Mary); daughters: Carrie Gallardo (Domingo) and Christina Hernandez Rodriguez; sister: Esperanza Bentley; also, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a rosary recited at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
