Yolanda Carmona, age 86, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on October 2, 2022, in Oklahoma. Yolanda was born in Hondo, Texas, on September 18, 1936, to Cayetana Lugo.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband: Rogelio Carmona; and son: Rogelio “Roy” Carmona, Jr.
Yolanda is survived by her daughters: Vangie Cortez, Belinda Gonzales, Elsa Tovar, and Patricia Carmona Peterson (Edward); 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
