Sergio Javier Leyba, age 53, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on August 19, 2022, in Hondo. Sergio was born in Hondo, Texas on February 20, 1969, to Sophie and Jesus Leyba.
Sergio is survived by his partner: Karen Bohlen; sons: Sergio Javier Leyva, Jr. (Jasmin), and Saxon J. Leyva; daughter: Sierra Jewel Leyva; parents: Jesus D. Leyba, and Sophie S. Leyba; sisters: Sophie Miranda (Ramiro), Rose Ortiz, Alma Lopez (Tony Espinoza), and Becky Contreras (Roy); brothers: Johnny Abrego (the late Kathy), and Rick Leyba (Lucy); and grandson: Xavier Anthony Cuellar.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 11:00 a.m., at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home.
Services will conclude after the funeral service.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
