Rosemary Barrientes Escobar, age 56, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Hondo. Rosemary was born in Hondo, Texas on September 18, 1967, to Rosa Y. and Arturo G. Barrientes.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her father: Arturo G. Barrientes.

Rosemary is survived by her husband: Merce “Sonny” Escobar; sons: Sonny Escobar, Jr., Arturo Barrientes Escobar, and Christopher David Escobar; daughter: Jennifer Nicole Escobar (Ralf); mother: Rosa Ytuarte Barrientes; sisters: Alicia Barrientes Renteria (Rigo), Patricia Barrientes (Juan), Christina Barrientes (Dave), Isabelle Marie Barrientes (Kevin); and two grandchildren: Josiah Escobar, and Zaelynn Hidalgo.

A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. and concluded with interment at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
