Ronnie Garcia, age 56, passed away on May 21, 2024, in Hondo, Texas. Ronnie was born in Hondo on January 15, 1968, to Mariana S. Rios, and Ramiro R. Garcia.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his grandmothers: Elena Martinez, and Petra Garcia; and by his aunt: Ostalia Martinez.

Ronnie is survived by his life partner: Ruby Reyes Luna; his wife: Evangelina Garcia; son: Ronnie James Garcia; stepson: Joe Gonzales (Melaine Rodriguez); daughters: Sarah Grace Garcia (Julio Rosas), Annie Guajardo (Ray), Jessica Pope; stepdaughters: Jovannah Gonzales, and Ayana Gonzales (Cameron Camacho); father: Ramiro Garcia (stepmother Delma Garcia); mother: Mariana Rios; sisters: Teresa Garcia, Jennifer Ytuarte, Monica Valle, and Jill Blackburn; brothers: Andrew Garcia (Samantha), Edward Garcia, and Jason Rios; 12 grandchildren: Morgan, Ryan, Lillian, Moses, Drianna, Myah Jade, Caliana, Julian, Jayziah, Carter, and Briella; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
