Rene G. Gonzales, Sr.

Rene G. Gonzales of Hondo, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2025, at the age of 77. He was born in Hondo, Texas, on August 28, 1947.

Rene is preceded in death by his parents: Celso Gonzales and Lucy (Barrientes) Gonzales; his brother: Celso Gonzales, Jr., and his sister: Carmen Arausa.

Rene is survived by his brother: Rodolfo Gonzales, and wife Anna Gonzales, his sons Rene Gonzales, Jr. of San Diego, John Gonzales of San Diego, his daughters, Jaqueline Lampinen of San Diego, Tina Rodriguez of San Antonio, and Renee Brewington of Tennessee, and 10 grandchildren 

A memorial service will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
