Ramona R. Aguilar

Ramona R. Aguilar of Natalia, Texas, took the Lord’s hand to be with Him on July 10, 2025, at the age of 94 years. Ramona was born on February 14, 1931, to Ventura and Mariana Z. Reyes. She lived a long, blessed life.

Ramona is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Aginaldo Aguilar; her son Luis Aguilar; daughter AnaVelia A. Cortina; grandsons Hijinio H. Cuellar, Jr., and Ricardo Molina, Jr.; great-grandson Zyair Stovall; her parents Ventura Reyes and Mariana Zamora Reyes, three sisters, and one brother.

Ramona is survived by her loving family - sons: Aginaldo Aguilar, Jr. (Rosie), and Pedro Aguilar (Belia); daughters: Amalia Cuellar (Hijinio),and AnaDelia Garza (Ruben). Ramona was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Hondo Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at St Louis Catholic Church, and will conclude with interment at Hondo Cemetery.
