Pedro V. Garza, age 81, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on August 27, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Pedro was born in Hondo on February 23, 1939 to Vicente Garza and Elvira Valdez.
Pedro is preceded in death by his sons: Jose Damian Garza and Jose Garza; brothers: Luis V. Esquivel and Jose Esquivel; and sisters: Carolina Ybarra and Rosaura Ontiveros.
Pedro is survived by his loving wife: Mary Garza; sons: Enrique Garza (Belinda), Pedro Garza, Jr., James Paul Garza; daughter: Christine Yvonne Romo (Jose); 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, with rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
