Pedro DeLeon, age 74, of Yancey, Texas, passed away on August 20, 2020 in Yancey, Texas. Pedro was born in Hondo on July 14, 1946 to Guadalupe Carillo and Ramon DeLeon.
Pedro is preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe Carillo and Ramon DeLeon; Brother: Macario “Hoss” DeLeon; and his Aunt: Petra DeLeon.
Pedro is survived by his loving wife: Estella Frausto DeLeon; Son: Oscar DeLeon (Grace); Daughter: Sandy Gonzales (Joel); Sisters: Lola Cardenas (Joe), Flora DeLeon, and Ester DeLeon; Brothers: Domingo DeLeon (Nora), Felix DeLeon (Elena), Genaro DeLeon (Janie), and Ramiro DeLeon (Patty); Grandchildren: Megan Felicia and Zachary James DeLeon, Joseph Jett and Viviana Rose Gonzales
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020, with rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday August 24, 2020 at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Yancey Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
