Ostalia S. Martinez, age 67, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Ostalia was born in Hondo on June 8, 1955, to Elena and Rumaldo Martinez.
Ostalia is preceded in death by her parents: Elena and Rumaldo Martinez; brother: Pedro S. Martinez; and sister: Olivia Martinez.
Ostalia is survived by her sisters: Vale Mendez (Juan), Mary DeLeon (the late Robert), and Guadalupe Martinez; sister-in-law: Lupe Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
