Noraida “Nora” Oranday Luna, age 52, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on March 25, 2024, in Hondo. Nora was born in Hondo, Texas on January 15, 1972, to Rosa and Eusebio Luna, Sr.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents: Rosa and Eusebio Luna, Sr.; sister: Joanna Luna, and brother: Ruben Luna.
Nora is survived by her sons: Jesse Joe Oranday (Jennia Hernandez), Justin Oranday, and Jehton Oranday; daughter: Jestiney Oranday (Jaime Menchaca); sisters: Norma Luna, and Elda Garza; brothers: Eusebio Luna, Jr., Joey Luna, and Daniel Luna; and 10 Grandchildren: Jayven, Jayceona, Jazelle, Jayceon, JJ, Jesse, Jaydesen, Jadalynn, Jayden, and Jesidah.
A visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 9:30 a.m., with recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m., and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Services will conclude after Mass.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
