Melinda Cain, age 45, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Melinda was born in Taft, Texas on October 18, 1976.
Melinda is survived by her loving husband: Edwin George Sturdy; son: Jessie Hernandez; daughter: Abigail Hernandez; stepdaughters: Angie Sturdy, Jeanette Sturdy, and Fernanda Sturdy; mother: Elojia Liguez; sister: Amanda Liguez-Rivas (George); brother: Joe Delgado (Sabrina) and 5 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Yancey Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
