Mary Alice Torres, age 57, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on May 1, 2022, in Hondo. Mary was born in Hondo, Texas on August 26, 1964, to Juanita and Saul Mendoza.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Saul and Juanita Mendoza.
Mary is survived by her loving husband: Domingo Torres, Jr.; sons: Domingo Torres, III (Jennifer), Michael Torres (Elizabeth), and John Torres (Renee); sisters: Debra (Dan), Isabet (Rick), Idalia (David), and Rose (Mike); brothers: Saul (Jessica), and Gabrial (Faedra); and 7 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
