Mary F. Guzman, of Hondo, Texas, age 62, passed away on February 2, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Mary was born on June 12, 1957 in Hondo, Texas to Felix, Sr. and Corina Flores.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband: Roy Guzman, Sr.; children: Norma Guzman and Eric Guzman; and brother: Felix “Chape” Flores, Jr.
Mary is survived by her parents: Felix, Sr. and Corina Flores; partner: Greg Torres; son: Roy Guzman, Jr. (Suzie); daughter: Julie Guzman (Carlos Guerrero); sisters: Dora Benavides (the late Cowboy), Lupita Sanchez (Joe James), and Sally Flores (James); brother: Joey Flores (Margie), Jesse Flores (Mary), and Moses Flores (Maida); 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Iglesia Del Nuevo Testamento. An interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery.
