Martin L. Arausa

Martin Arausa passed away at the age of 86 years old , October 20, 2026, in Boise, Idaho, of natural causes surround by family. He was born to Guillermo and Santos Arausa on Dec 11, 1939, in Hondo Tx.

Martin was a professional painter for Smith Chevrolet for over 30+ years. He lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho for most of his earlier life - raising his family with Francis Landeros Arausa. Later in life he made his home in Hondo, Tx with his late wife Carmen Arausa.

Martin is survived by his children: MaryJane Kral Arausa( Daughter), Willie RF Arausa(Son), Cecelia Hope (Daughter), Patricia (Daughter); grandchildren: Niko Kral, Christopher Arausa, Jeremy Arausa, Amber Arausa Archibald- Austin, Trista, Virginia Arausa- Gabby, Mia, Mikayla, Sisha Arausa-Lamprecht-Niaya, Kaila, Chase Behar, and Blaise Behar; siblings: Lupe Arousa- Warden, WA, Pero Arausa-Bainbridge, WA, Willie Arausa-Hondo, TX, Candeleria A. Rios-Lamont, CA, Elva A. Fernandez-Tulsa, OK.

Martin is preceded in death by his wife: Carmen G. Arausa; parents: Guillermo Arausa and Santos DeLuna; siblings: Margarita Contreras, Francisca A. Sanchez, Enedina A. Rivera, and Udelia A. Zander.

A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2026, beginning at 10:45 a.m., followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 11:30 a.m., a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m., and will conclude with interment at Hondo Cemetery.
