Maria Inez Tovar, age 72, of Hondo, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2026. Maria was born in Hondo, Texas on March 12, 1954, to Hortencia and Guillermo Tovar, Sr.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents: Hortencia and Guillermo Tovar, Sr.; and brothers: George Tovar, Guillermo Tovar, Jr., and Carlos Tovar.
Maria is survived by her sister: Margarita Aguilar; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
