Maria Oralia "Juanis" Marquez

June 25, 1966 — June 16, 2022

Maria Oralia “Juanis” Marquez, passed away on June 16, 2022. Born in Mexico, but spent most of her younger years in Chicago, before relocating to Michigan.

Maria is preceded in death by her father: Eliseo Hernandez, and her brothers: Jose (Ticho), Eliseo, Jr. (June Bug), and Jerry.

Beloved mother of Wilson Jr., (aka Goonie), Angelicia, Jay Jay, Selena, and Mario. She was the proud grandmother of 14, and devoted sister of 8 brothers. Maria was the cherished daughter of Alberta Hernandez, dear aunt and friend to many.

Maria loved to cook, dance and listening to the “oldies” music. She was a tough woman, with a mind of her own. The most valued time she spent was being with her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and the precious moments together. Her furry family consisted of Chiquita, Chanel, Charlie, Cha Cha and Cloe, for whom she was the perfect “doggie mom”.
