Maria Del Carmen Bermudes, age 55, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 2, 2024, in Hondo. Maria was born in Acuna, Mexico on September 26, 1968, to Raquel and Jose Garcia.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Raquel Garcia; brother: Mario Garcia; and her sister: Rafaella Garcia Moreno.
Maria is survived by her husband: Joe Bermudes; son: Joe Bermudes, Jr.; sisters: Carmen Barrientes, Maria Del Refugio Garcia, Juanita Sanchez, Alma Rosa Rodriguez, Lurdes Garcia, Raquel Morin, Tomasa Fuentes, Rosa Garcia, Flor Garcia, and Leticia Garcia; brother: Pastor Jose Garcia; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Iglesia Apostolica Vino Nuevo on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Services will conclude at 2:00 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
