Maria R. Aguinaga

Maria Rosario Aguinaga, age 86, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on May 16, 2024, in Hondo. Maria was born in D’Hanis, Texas on October 7, 1937, to Juanita and Atilano Garcia. 

Maria is preceded in death by her husband: Guadalupe Aguinaga; son: Wayne Aguinaga; and granddaughter: Cassandra Lynn Suehs.

Maria is survived by her sons: Guadalupe Aguinaga, and Eugene Aguinaga; daughter: Leticia Aguinaga; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Hondo Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, followed by interment at San Francisco Cemetery in D'Hanis.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
