Marcus Salazar, age 51, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Marcus was born in Hondo on October 9, 1970, to Carmen Perez, and Ernesto F. Salazar.
Marcus is survived by his loving wife: Veronica Ramirez; son: Ozzy Salazar; stepsons: Jerick Ramirez, Adrian Ramirez, and Andrew Ramirez; stepdaughters: Genevie Ramirez, and Jovon Ramirez; Parents: Ernesto F. Salazar (Lita Garcia), and Carmen Ragain (Dennis); sister: Veronica Salazar; brothers: Tracy Salazar, Ernest Salazar, Jr., and Billy Pickthall; step-granddaughters: Rylie, Raelynn, Reanne, and Ava; and step-grandson: Julian.
A memorial service will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home.
Services will conclude after rosary.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
