Leonardo "RoRo" Contreras, Sr.

Leonardo “RoRo” Contreras, Sr., age 75, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. RoRo was born in Hondo, Texas, on January 18, 1950, to Josepha and Juan Contreras.

RoRo is preceded in death by his parents; son: Leonardo Contreras, Jr.; brothers: Lupe, Ramon, and Mundo; sisters: Hortencia Reyes and Jane Mendoza.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 54 years, Olga; brother: Juanito (Maria); sisters: Maria Wiggins (Doug), Aurelia (the late Tomas Chavez); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. RoRo was also a devoted father figure to Guadalupe Pressley, Sandra Martinez, and Joseph Morin, whose children referred to him as “Welo”.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No services to be held.
