Julius Maciel, age 56, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2022, in Hondo. Julius was born in Houston, Texas, on November 9, 1965, to Delia and Pete Maciel.

Julius is preceded in death by his parents: Pete and Delia Maciel.

Julius is survived by his loving wife: Connie Maciel; sons: Julius Alfredo Maciel (Miriah Soliz), and Joseph Anthony Maciel; daughters: Christina Marie Maciel, Margaret Marie Rosas (Vicente), and Celeste Milagro Maciel; sister: Merida Maciel; brother: Pete Maciel (Helen); and 5 grandchildren.

 A visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
