Juan Ybarra

Juan Ybarra, age 82, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2024, in Hondo. Juan was born in Hondo, Texas, on June 24, 1942, to Paula and Teofilo Ybarra.

Juan is preceded in death by his loving wife: Fanny Ybarra; parents: Teofilo and Paula Ybarra; and brothers: Alfredo Ybarra, Eduardo Ybarra, and Teofilo Ybarra, Jr.

Juan is survived by his sisters: Eva Cortez (Ernie), Josephine “Josie” Yezierski, Santos Alvarez, and Ramona Alcaraz; and brother: Jesse Ybarra.

A visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 a.m., Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., and will conclude with interment at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
