Joyce Arlene Gray

On November 1, 2025, Joyce Gray, a new angel full of style and grace, entered the gates of Heaven. Born December 19, 1941, to Neva and Lewis Dean, she had a life full of laughter, family, friends and joy. Whether serving a big family meal, vacationing on the water or finding the perfect places to shop for the day, she knew how to find the fun in life. She enjoyed telling stories, playing games, and even causing a little bit of mischief.

Joyce was a pillar of strength. She endured many struggles throughout her life and found a way through to the other side with a smile. She was admired for her faith and the love she shared with all of those around her.

She is preceded in death by husbands, son, parents, brothers, sister, and in-laws.

She is survived by her daughters, son in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Joyce is now resting peacefully.

Joyce's 83 remarkable years on earth will be honored with a visitation at Hondo Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Church beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the Rosary at 1:30 p.m., Mass at 2:00 p.m., and will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
