Jose Angel Santillano, age 67, of Utopia, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Jose was born in Mexico on May 5, 1954, to Maria De Jesus Santillano and Andres Vargas.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents: Andres Vargas, and Maria De Jesus Santillano, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Jose is survived by his loving wife: Maria Del Rosario Santillano; sons: Luis Santillano (Lissette), and Jose Santillano, Jr.; daughter: Maria Guadalupe Santillano; sister: Paubla Santillano; brother: Juan Santillano; and grandchildren: Taitum Joe Santillano, Henry Eyan Brown, and Sabastian Valentine Santillano.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Vanderpool Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
