John Valenzuela Alvarez

John “Johnny” Valenzuela Alvarez, age 57, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 17, 2020 in Hondo. Johnny was born in Hondo on December 24, 1962 to Guadalupe L. and Rosa Valenzuela Alvarez.

Johnny is preceded in death by his father: Guadalupe L. Alvarez; and brothers: James Edward Alvarez and Christopher Alvarez.

Johnny is survived by his children: Jennifer Alvarez, Alexis Alvarez, Alyssa Alvarez, John Alvarez, Jose Alvarez, and Milo Alvarez; 6 grandchildren; mother: Rosa Valenzuela Alvarez; sisters: Elizabeth Sanchez (Ray), Mary Soliz (Rudy), and Syliva Ortiz (Miguel) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Hondo Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
