Joan Mary Gregory, lovingly referred to as “Joni” by those who love her, age 79, passed away on April 19, 2026. Joni was born in Hondo, Texas on April 3, 1947, to Mildred and Clarence Wernette.
Joni is preceded in death by her husband: Bob Gregory; son: Chance Trip; parents: Clarence Wernette and Mildred Hancock; stepfather: Ralph Hancock; and brothers: Troy Wernette, and Blake Wernette
Joni is survived by her son: Shane Trip; daughter: Brooke Kaupert (Jason); sister: Starr Schuehle (Henry); 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
