Jesusa Alvarez Guardado, age 76, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on July 31, 2025, in Hondo. Jesusa was born in Natalia, Texas on April 3, 1949, to Pablo and Luciana H. Alvarez

Jesusa is preceded in death by her parents: Pablo and Luciana H. Alvarez; brothers: Julian Alvarez, and Carlos Alvarez; and sister: Rosalinda Garcia.

Jesusa is survived by her husband: Guadalupe Guardado; son: Noey Alvarez (Mariah); and brothers: Juan Alvarez (Flora), and Jose Luis Alvarez (Joy).

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Hondo Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 2:00 p.m., and will conclude with a Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m.

Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
