Jesse Leroy Hoover

Jesse Leroy Hoover, Sr., of Von Ormy, Texas, age 84, passed away on April 21, 2020 in Converse, Texas. Jesse was born in Hondo Texas on August 7, 1935 to Frederick Charles and Edith Louella Sample Hoover.

Jesse is preceded in death by his daughter: Debbie Ransom; parents: Frederick and Edith Hoover; grandson: John Blandford; brother: Charles Loren Hoover; and sisters: Edith Leona Hoover, Mary Lee Hoover, Ruth Ella Hoover, and Virginia Charene Hoover.

Jesse is survived by his son: Jesse Hoover, Jr.; daughter: Vickie Stock (Lewis); and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Hondo Cemetery.

Funeral services can proceed with immediate family members but should not exceed more than 10 people (this number is per CDC guidance as of Tuesday, March 17 and is in effect until further notice). Social distancing (six feet) should be observed as much as possible.
