Jason Garcia

Jason Garcia age 46, of Yancey, Texas, passed away on July 6, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Jason was born in Hondo, Texas on September 3, 1978, to Lydia and Sostenes Garcia, Jr.

Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents: Simon and Dominga Rodriguez, and Sostenes and Dominga Garcia; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jason is survived by his son: Gavin Garcia; daughter: Grace Garcia; parents: Lydia R. Garcia & Sostenes T. Garcia, Jr.; ex-wife: Kelly Keck Garcia; fiancée: Dannette Irwin and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at St. John’s Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., and will conclude with interment at Yancey cemetery.

A reception will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church immediately following interment.
