Janie Saldana, age 84, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 16, 2024, in Hondo. Janie was born in Hondo, Texas on June 12, 1939, to Aquilina and Luis Saldana.
Janie is survived by her sister: Tomasa Garza; nieces and nephews: Sally and Vicente Arcos, and Rodolfo Javier Garza; great nephews: Vicente Karlos Arcos, and Luis Kristian Arcos; and numerous great grand nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, January 19, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m., Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., and interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
