Isabel B. Luna

Isabel Barron Luna, age 81, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Hondo. Isabel was born in Hondo, Texas on November 26, 1943, to Guillerma “Emma” Barron and Jesus Luna, Sr.

Isabel is preceded in death by her parents: Emma Barron, and Jesus Luna, Sr.; her brothers: Jesus Luna, Jr, and Valentino Luna; ex-husband: Eligio Correa, Sr.; and grandmother: Rita Barron.

Isabel is survived by her sons: Eligio Correa, Jr. (Carol), and Gabriel Correa (ex-wife Annette); daughter: Irma Rodriguez (Ernest Salazar); 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Hondo Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
