Helen L. Nooner

Helen Lenor Nooner, of Hondo, Texas, age 90, passed away on April 11, 2020 in Hondo, Texas. Helen was born on March 18, 1930 to William F. and Fanalou Pippen Mauritzen.

Helen is preceded in death by her husbands: Samuels Nooner and John Coyle; parents; and siblings: Walter Mauritzen, Elizabeth Bone and Estelle Hand.

Helen is survived by her son: Sammy Nooner; grandson: Sean Nooner; siblings: Ted Mauritzen of Clayton, TX and Doris Hollister of Carthage, TX; stepsons: Glenn Coyle and Steve Coyle of Austin, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held a 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2020 at Hondo Cemetery.

Funeral services can proceed with immediate family members but should not exceed more than 10 people (this number is per CDC guidance as of Tuesday, March 17 and is in effect until further notice). Social distancing (six feet) should be observed as much as possible.
