Guillermo Soliz

Guillermo Soliz, age 56, of Yancey, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in San Antonio. Guillermo was born in Hondo, Texas on October 20, 1969, to Jesusa and Jose Soliz.

Guillermo is preceded in death by his mother: Jesusa “Susie” Soliz.

Guillermo is survived by his partner: Betty Jean Esquibel; former wife: Sylvia Reavis; son: Adam Nicholas Soliz (Reyna); daughters: Adriana Deleon Soliz, Ariel Deleon Soliz (Leah), and Abigail Nicole Soliz (Jalyn); father: Jose G. Soliz; sisters: Olga Rodriguez (Ruben), and Norma Garcia (Fidencio); brothers: Jose Antonio Soliz, Armando Soliz, and Jorge Abel Ramirez; and 6 grandchildren: Aiden Bowser, Olivia Gilliland, Jeremiah Gilliland, Emma Gilliland, Leonardo Soliz, and Coraline Soliz.

A viewing will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Rosary from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude after the Rosary.
