Gregorio C. DeLeon, age 75, of Yancey, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2024, in San Antonio. Gregorio was born in Hondo, Texas, on May 25, 1949, to Silveria and Pablo DeLeon.
Gregorio is preceded in death by his parents: Silveria and Pablo DeLeon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gregorio is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Patricia DeLeon; sons: Roger DeLeon (Jennifer), and Gary DeLeon (Laura); sisters: Carolina Ontiveros (Andrew), and Angie Garcia (Victor); brothers: Max DeLeon (Elvira), David DeLeon (Estella), and Robert DeLeon (Becky); 4 grandchildren: Matt DeLeon, Haleigh DeLeon Hernandez, Abigail DeLeon, and Gregory Tyler DeLeon; and great-grandchild: Carter Belle Hernandez.
A visitation will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Thursday, September 5, 2024, beginning at 9:30 a.m., with recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m., Funeral Mass held at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Yancey Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
