Goldie Jane Gallardo, age 66, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Goldie was born in Snyder, Texas on August 5, 1955, to Oratia and Manuel Cortinez.
Goldie is preceded in death by her father: Manuel Cortinez; brother: Pete Zuniga; and nephew: Anthony Sanchez.
Goldie is survived by her husband: Ruben Gallardo; daughters: Clair Castillo (Anthony Aguirre), Carline “Pinkie” Castillo, Crystal Castillo (Ronnie Coronado), Christie Pina (Ray Hernandez), and Cathy Pina (Birdie Lopez); mother: Oratia Cortinez; sisters: Liz Castillo, Blanca Hernandez, Angie Cortinez, Nadine Cortinez, Gloria Casias, Millie Cortinez, and Sadie Alvarez; brothers: Freddy Cortinez, and Manny Cortinez; 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
