In Loving Memory of Frank Kade McWhorter
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Kade McWhorter, who left this world far too soon at the age of 33 following a tragic automobile accident.
Kade had a way of making life brighter for everyone around him. He was a true jokester whose laugh was contagious and whose quick wit could make anyone smile. He never met a stranger and had a gift for bringing people together. Whether you needed a helping hand, someone to listen, or simply a reason to laugh, Kade was always there.
He loved working with his hands and could fix just about anything. When he wasn’t tinkering on a project, you could find him enjoying music, spending time with friends, or making memories with the people he loved most.
Above all else, Kade was a devoted husband and an incredible father. His greatest pride and joy were his two children, Ella (9) and Daniel (4). They were the center of his world, and the love he had for them was evident in everything he did. He also leaves behind his loving wife, Kayla, whose life was forever intertwined with his. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave his family will remain with them always.
Kade was preceded in death by his father, Michael McWhorter of Datil, New Mexico; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Lola McWhorter of Socorro, New Mexico; and his maternal grandparents, Bob and Anah Lee of Datil, New Mexico.
Kade is survived by his wife, Kayla; his beloved children, Ella and Daniel; his mother, Carol Lee; his brother, Trampas, his wife, and their three children; along with countless extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories Kade gave us—the laughter, the kindness, the unwavering loyalty, and the love that he shared so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the family he cherished beyond measure.
A Celebration of Life honoring Kade will be held at Mil Veranos Vineyard & Wines in D'Hanis, on August 14, 2026, his 34th birthday. While we wish this gathering were under different circumstances, we invite all who knew and loved him to join us as we celebrate the life, laughter, and love he gave so generously.
In accordance with Kade’s wishes, we will also be arranging a small Celebration of Life in New Mexico for family and friends who are unable to travel to Texas. Details, including the date and location, will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Kayla and their children.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
