Frances R. Ortega, age 82, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2023, in San Antonio. Frances was born in El Sauz, Texas on January 19, 1941, to Cristina and Bruno Rodriguez.

Frances is survived by her loving husband: Joe R. Ortega; sons: Joseph A. Ortega (Maria), Jonathan Ortega (Gennie), Jeffrey Ortega (Samal), Jerold Ortega (Alejandra), and Jacob Ortega (Jennifer); 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m., at Holy Name Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at San Jose Burial Park.
