Ermilio Quintanilla, Jr., age 50, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on May 13, 2026, in San Antonio. Ermilio was born on July 8, 1975, to Esperanza “Hopie” and Emilio T. Quintanilla.
Ermilio is preceded in death by his beloved wife: Vanessa Robles; and his parents: Hopie and Emilio T. Quintanilla.
Ermilio is survived by his sons: Ethan Quintanilla, Alejandro Quintanilla; stepson: Isaac De La Fuente; daughter: Katalina Quintanilla; brother: Rene Quintanilla (Liz); and his dog: Dante.
A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Thursday, May 14, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
