Elida Cruz, age 89, of Natalia, Texas, passed away on August 4, 2020 in Hondo, Texas. Elida was born in Pearson Texas to Facundo and Florentina Garcia Ochoa.
Elida is preceded in death by her husband: Luis Valerio Cruz; her brothers: Trinidad Ochoa, Facundo Ochoa, Jr., Lorenzo Ochoa, and Jose “Lalo” Bustamonte; and sisters: Alcaria Ochoa, Virhinia Garival, and Adela Dominguez.
Elida is survived by her sons: Luis Cruz, Jr. (Aurora), and Gerardo Cruz; daughters: Angelita Cruz, Florentina Cantu (Ernesto), Maria Rodriguez, and Sylvia Quiroga (Tino); brothers: Meregildo Ochoa, Margarito Ochoa, Irenio Bustamante (Juanita), and Rodolfo Bustamante (Modesta); 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at Hondo Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 12, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
