David C. Benavides, age 70, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on February 27, 2025, in Hondo. David was born in Hondo, Texas on August 3, 1954, to Ofelia C. and Ramiro F. Benavides.
David is preceded in death by his parents: Ofelia C. and Ramiro F. Benavides; sister: Elida Benavides Reyes; and nephew: Ted Benavides.
David is survived by his sisters: Dolores Benavides, Mary Elsa Aguilar (the late Domingo), Esperanza B. Hernandez (Albert), MaryLou Garza (Jesse), and Belma Benavides (Abran Hernandez); brothers: Oscar C. Benavides (the late Delia), Erasmo Benavides (Diana), and Ricardo Benavides (Nelida); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., and concluding with interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
