Darlene Wiemers, age 91, of Yancey, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Darlene was born in Reydon, OK on July 5, 1930, to Charlie and Elsie Boone.
Darlene is preceded in death by her husband: Fielding Wiemers; and her parents; brothers: Paige Boone and Willis Boone; and sister: Deanie Ruston.
Darlene is survived by her sons: Wayne Wiemers (Jane) and Lonnie Wiemers (Patsy); daughter: Sherry Croston (Stan); sister: Wanda DeLosch; brother: Coy Boone (Sandy); 3 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home, with an interment following in Yancey Cemetery.
