Casimiro Guajardo

Casimiro Guajardo, age 85, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2024, in Hondo. Casimiro was born in Hondo, Texas on March 4, 1939, to Juanita and Rosendo Guajardo.

Casimiro is preceded in death by his parents: Rosendo and Juanita Guajardo; sister: Santos Carassco; and brothers: Beto Gomez, and Juan Guajardo.

Casimiro is survived by his son: Armando Guajardo; daughters: Elizabeth, and Rosanna; sisters: Rosa Gonzales, Lupe Martinez, and Luz Garcia; brother: Ramon Guajardo; niece: Elva Guajardo; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers: JoAnn Oranday, Raquel Guillen, Esmeralda Navarro, Rosemary Gonzalez, Lee Veracruz, Gilberto Guajardo, Jr., and Fabien Gonzalez.

Niece Elva says, “My Tio was a very good samaritan. He liked fishing, enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with family. He was everything to me.” 

A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Hondo Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Yancey Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
