Bertha loved her family and welcomed all with open arms. She knew no boundaries on her love. No one would leave her home without being fed. In fact, she would wake up to make everyone breakfast and lunch to take to work. Lunch was always waiting for anyone who took the time to stop by, a stack of tortillas and a pitcher of iced tea always waiting. She lovingly cared for several generations of her grandchildren when she was needed. She would often serve as chaperone on school trips or in the football concession stand. In her free time, Bertha would play bingo with her friends. While she did not drive, she was an excellent co-pilot and she loved her trips to Las Vegas and Louisiana.
Bertha will live on in the hearts of the many that she loved. May she rest in peace with her loved ones.
