Arturo “Bolder” Resendez, Jr., age 52, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on December 4, 2022, in San Antonio. Arturo was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 16, 1970, to Delia and Arturo Resendez, Sr.

Arturo is preceded in death by his father: Arturo Resendez, Sr.

Arturo is survived by his son: Arturo Resendez, III; daughters: Christian Dominguez (Spencer), Amber Rios (Isaac), and Almanique Resendez (Frankie Cuellar); mother: Delia Resendez; sisters: Laurie Felan (Jeff), and Belinda Resendez (Henry); brother: Alfred Resendez; grandchildren: Sage Dominguez, and Ellie Rios; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church on Friday, December 9, 2022, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
