Arturo L. Gonzalez

Arturo Lopez Gonzalez, age 69, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on August 9, 2025, in San Antonio. Arturo was born in Hondo, Texas on March 8, 1956, to Inez Santiano and Lasaro Gonzalez.

Arturo is preceded in death by his son: Juanito Gonzalez; parents: Inez Santiano, and Lasaro Gonzalez; Ex-wife: Dora Gonzalez; and brother: Felis Flores.

Arturo is survived by his son: Arturo Gonzalez, Jr.; daughter: Dora Rodriguez (Paul); brothers: Ramiro Flores (the late Janie), and Juan Gonzales; 7 grandchildren: Paul Gonzalez, Klarissa Gonzalez, Paul Rodriguez, Jr., Nathaniel Rodriguez, Layliah Rodriguez, Dominic Rodriguez, and Keagan Gonzalez; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Hondo Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., and concluding with interment at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
