Armando Hernandez, age 80, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 20, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Armando was born in Hondo, Texas on June 23, 1940 to Francisca and Valente G. Hernandez.

Armando is preceded in death by his wife: Corina S. Hernandez; Parents: Valente G. and Francisca N. Hernandez.

Armando is survived by his Sons: Albert “Tiko” Hernandez (Esperanza), Abe Hernandez (Belma), Christopher Hernandez (Mary); Daughters: Carrie Gallardo (Domingo), and Christina Hernandez Rodriguez; Sister: Carmel Hernandez (Elias); Brothers: Juan Hernandez (Jesusa), and Arturo Hernandez; numerous grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, with rosary recited at 11:00 a.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
